Im presuming its been upgraded to ccxr power, given how fast it was. Do you know if it was upgraded?
Personally, for the money, Id take a veyron hands-down over a ccx/ccxr. The veyron is the ultimate high-speed GT car. The CCX is an overly expensive hotrod.
Anyone can make a car as fast as the CCX. The ultimate aero, for example, is faster. But the veyron does it with so much refinement that its in another league from all else.
@TrueCall BTW, the guy who is in the video said its a ccxr, so Im presuming he knows.
As Im sure you know, you can upgrade the ccx to ccxr power output regardless.
The veyron has superior aerodynamics to the ccx. The CCX was notorious for its high speed tail happiness. Ask The Stig from his review of it.
The CCX is an awesome car, but its not the best at everything.
@chriscarter998 I know that it’s a Koenigsegg CCX who strikes 0-100 in 3.1sec , also CCXR strikes 0-100 in 2.9sec, AND the bugatti strikes 0-100 2.5sec… BTW Veyron is more powerful than a Koenigsegg, but Koenigsegg it’s a great car!

Top speed has less to do with power than aerodynamics.
If you want to complain about it, talk to koenigsegg. They claim “250 mph +” although they have no official verification of that, which Ive seen. They do not claim to be able to outrun the bugatti.
Bugatti officially beat the ccx to gain the title of fastest production car. Then, the SSC ultimate aero finally beat that. Now, the new veyron SS has destroyed both of those with an official 267 mph run.
@nabslp670 I thought about it and I came to the conclusion that there is no way The Koenigsegg could beat it from 0-60 but after that, the heavy weight of the Veyron is going to slow it down (can’t believe I put slow and Veyron in the same sentence), while the Koenigsegg would run it down and no doubt pass it by 120. The Koenigsegg is so aerodynamic, while the veyron is not as quite aerodynamic.

@TrueCall your right man but you gotta consider traction especially when your talking about cars that have over 1000 bhp. The heavy weight of the veyron could actually work to its advantage push the wheels into the ground plus the 4 wheel drive its a hard call. but i think with a good driver the ksegg could beat the veyron
@chriscarter998 If its a ccxr and not a ccx, (which I think it is a ccx) There is NO WAY a Veyron would beat it top end. The Veyron weighs 4500 lbs while the K segg weighs like 2600 lbs and the CCXR has 17 more hp than a Veyron so you do the math and tell me how the hell the Veyron is supposed to beat a CCXR top end.

I kinda expected that from a roll…you just cant argue with power to weight. At top speed I presume the veyron would come around him, but that ccxr is a monster from a roll.

@RicerEater1978 yea haha i already got a modded m35x (supporting mods no real performance adders besides intake,exhaust,and plenum) and a 3 liter stroked stage 3+ b5 s4 (be tuned to a little over 700hp) yea the chevelle i like because i love the look and sound of the 454 and camaros,just look nice to me.

@crzygutrsnobrdr ive always been a fan of novas, never saw anything special in camaros and chevelles (besides light weight for camaro and looks for chevelle). which is why i got a 78 nova for my first car and daily driver. light, easy/fun to work on, and they look great. there are some really nice imports i like as well, but if i were to go with ANY everyday newer car it would be a black 2003 cobra.
@RicerEater1978 yea i love c5 zo6′s my neighbor has a 800hp c5 and its unreal.he shifts at like 3k and spins the tires into 4th.its a beatuiful car.but at the same time haha i live in minnesota.rwd lowered high hp car=imposible…330hp awd sedan with 245 snowtires=win haha.but id love a 69 camaro and a chevelle ss 454 (the 396 is for vag’s) haha
@crzygutrsnobrdr when it comes to modding the hell out of normal cars, id have to go with the z06. more potential than the zr1 motor. other than that, ill just take a couple of my favorite muscle cars, couple grand to put into each one, and a fully furbished garage with any of the tools i need.
@RicerEater1978 o haha i thought you were saying the car is cheaper than that.but yea the slr mclarent zr1 and gt to me are just really fast sports car.but the lambo can be very quick when you give it turbos,same with the gt,the zr1 is nuts.i got a ride in 1 and it was unreal.but if i had enought money id but my favorite cars and mod the piss out of them

@crzygutrsnobrdr thats what i was saying in the first place. lol. 1000 is a lot for a stock car. but its not worth 1.6 mil. im talking about general supercars. some dont deserve the title. but lambos, the slr mclaren, zr1, and ford gt are all around 550-650 hp. now REAL supercars would be stuff like the veyron, zonda, ccx, etc. cars that go above and beyond. in my opinion lamborghini is an overrated, generic version of a supercar. theres so much more you can have for +200k
@RicerEater1978 you named 3 and you said a lot..i dont know any supercar that is around 600.but it also depends on what your description of a supercar is vs. mine.if you went out and bought a veyron it would cost you 1.7mill.go on wikipedia and look at the maintence costs.speaking of the f1 its my fav car
im just sayin for that much money,they brag about how fast it is but its only 1k hp,i just think its a little lame.and yea i rather have a lot of modded cars then a couple supercars
@crzygutrsnobrdr mclaren f1, aston martin one 77 (tested at 220), and the ccx all have top speeds over 220 with less than 1000 hp. 1000 hp is a lot for a supercar (considering a lot are getting around 600) but its not worth 1.6 mil. id take a regular car over a supercar any day though.
@RicerEater1978 tell me 3 supercars that have a top speed over 220mpg that have under 1000hp.hennesy srt 10 1000coupe,9ff-gtr,ssc ultimate aero (and tt),veyron ss,callaway sludgehammer…now you said that 1001hp is a lot.so tell me a car that has a lot of hp.
