    @resellworld Depends on what you mean by long run. The Veyron will blow it’s tires after a few minutes of top speed running whereas the Koenigsegg will not. If the McLaren F1:s Nardo vs. Ehra times are anything to go by the Koenigsegg CCX will top out at 401 km/h and the CCXF considerably higher – well beyond Veyron’s top speed.

    1:st-3:rd gear = Veyron.

    3:rd-6/7:th = Koenigsegg.

  6. @323Ci Its not just that, the 4WD Veyron can bog down a bit but will still crack 0-60mph quicker by over a second.

  7. @Raal777 It’s called power to weight. Veyron weights 4470lbs koenigsegg is like 2800 some odd pounds. There is a massive difference between the weight of these two cars. That will make all the difference in the world

  11. @airebic wow stop being imbecile! That video is not showing a race from a rolling start. The veyron has 4wheel drive and koenigsegg 2wheel so the veyron should win that race quite comfortably. Also consider the human factor, since its a manual vs an automatic gearbox.

    I´m surprised but i guess that Egg isn´t a stockcar? They have modified a CCX to almost CCXR spec. so my guess is that the have found a couple of more horses in the stable. Official figures for the car is 950 bhp ( 68 less than the Veyron ) and approximately 500 kilos less weight… From a rolling start when that extra weight is not longer that important perhaps the Egg really IS faster? I´m still not 100 % on that but i might!!

  16. Veyron is faster off the line, but a the koenigsegg is faster from a roll… it just cant get all its power down from a dead stop the wheels just spin.. the veyron can because it has all wheel drive

    Did the Veyron driver use the top speed key or not? That makes a difference at high speed due to improved aerodynamics, when the top speed key is activated.
