@streettraining Maybe you are right, or maybe I am. I still think it’s possible over this distance. With the reverse time I mean: cars aren’t built to drive backwards fast. Driving backwards is only for making manoeuvres, therefore there is only one backwards speeds. This is clearly a disadvantage for the car.
@bakkermaarten007 ronaldo isn’t faster than Varndell. Have you seen his acceleration away from contact… Of course the Nike ad is fake, it’s an advert! What do you mean about the reverse time by the way… it wouldnt have time to use any other gears
@bakkermaarten007 LOL, this test was used to prove ronaldo ad wrong. This was also short distance AND with a slower car with manual transmission. Still, car won. Ronaldo ad is fake, seriously, thats what ads do.
@GallardoLP560dash4 I think the nike ad might be real. Ronaldo took off earlier than the car because the car hadn’t shifted yet, and then the car had to drive backwards wich has only one acceleration. Plus, the distance is very short for such a car to unleash it’s full potential and ronaldo’s faster than this man . My conclusion: Bugatti Veyron is waaaay faster than Ronaldo, but the circumstances for Ronaldo were just perfect =)
@GallardoLP560dash4 Yeah i know i just watched it and i was like no way the veyron gets beat by some guy but the v12 vantage doesn’t. I’d still take the v12 vantage over a veyron any day. I just love the looks and sound from the v12
a car can still accelerate backwards quite quickly… it’s still very powerful so it probably went backwards just as fast as the forwards part
