Kyosho Inferno GT2 Aston Martin Racing DBR9
The Kyosho Inferno GT2 with the Aston Martin Racing DBR9 is the latest version of the dynamic GT2 machine, based on the World Championship-winning Inferno 7.5. The GT2, which created the GT class of 1/8 road cars, is built by Kyosho, which has more than 35 years of racing experience and engineering under its belt, and it shows. The GT2 features high-tech composite and alloy construction that strikes an unmatched balance of performance and durability that is only possible through the many years of research and development that Kyosho has accumulated. Powered by a big (relatively speaking) 4.6cc engine, the GT2 features a centrifugal clutch and an automatic two-speed transmission. First gear gives you strong acceleration for a strong exit out the tight corners, while second gear lets the GT2 stretch its legs on the long straights and sweeping corners of the track or street. The GT2 tops out above 60 mph, and it gets there faster than any street car in existence. A durable and efficient shaft drive gets power to the front and rear differentials of the all-wheel-drive system. The differentials are sealed to allow the use of optional tuning fluid to tune the differential action, if desired. Low profile semi-slick tires feature a shallow tread pattern for good all around performance on the street or track, optional genuine Kyosho slicks are available in a range of compounds for the ultimate performance. The GT2 runs on 20 to 30 percent nitro fuel, available at many RC specialty …
Who know the name of this song? It’s really cool
i have gt2 and that corvette
It’s similar, but it’s got a longer wheelbase chassis, new engine with a pilot shaft crank, new clutch, new flywheel, new gear ratios in the two speed, larger 150cc fuel tank, dual disc brakes, standard front and rear chassis braces and turnbuckle linkages for the upper suspension and steering linkage. The longer wheelbase gives the car more steering better proportions, so the bodies are closer to actual dimensions. The original GT was a lot shorter so the bodies weren’t quite as scale.
looks like the first gt just with double brakes
Probably the best rc video ever. Love the Aston!!!
Cool song from 1:44.
Great cars, great driving and great video!
See you at the GT World Championships at Homestead/Miami Speedway.
