Tiff Needell on the Koenigsegg CCR

Here I am looking after a 2007 Koenigsegg CCR for a friend along with some other exotic cars including a Spyker C8 Spyder, Ferrari F430, Ferrari 430 16M Scuderia, Lamborghini Gallardo and a Caparo T1 as the CCR’s battery has run flat. So I decide to film it for my channel. And a little while later Fifth Gear star Tiff Needel comes along to view the supercars that he about to present at the MPH Motorshow in Earls Court, London. I ask him for a cheeky quick interview on his opinion on Sweden’s …

  1. Get a job tiff

  2. Just to make sure they didn’t get scratched and the keys were in them :P

Plus I had to make sure the Koenigsegg door stayed open otherwise it would stay shut until the battery is replaced as its battery operated as is the engine cover.

  3. cool, why do they need looking after? show wasnt open and they cant exaclty drive out…
i was there wednesday night when the carpets were being cut to size, cars were coming in from 6pm till it closed to the people setting up.

  4. Yeah I know they are Norwiegan, I have three of their albums (Stormblast, Death Cult Armageddon and In Sorte Diaboli)

  5. I was actually there looking after the cars when the barrier was being made and set up around me by a team of a bout 5 blokes whilst carpet was being laid down. This was a about 2pm Thursday 3 hours before the show opened to the public.

  6. WTF! Not what you would expect from Sweden?!?!?!

What a total moron. If someone in Sweden wants to build a supercar, then the faster roadcar ever is the natural result. Just as when Sweden builds a fighter plane (Tunnan, Draken, Viggen, Gripen) or a naval Corvette (Visby) or a submarine (Gotland), or an IFV (Pbv302, CV90), or artillry (Bkan1C, FH/77B), or AT-weapons (AT4, Bill2, MBT LAW, STRIX, BONUS), or a tank (Strv103), and so on…

    Dimmu Borgir is Norwegian…

  7. How did it manage to burn a hole in the carpet if it was broken all the time.
The saturday night performance tiff said flames spat from the exhaust and burnt a hole in the carpet

  8. I was there wednesday evening when the barriers wernt up around it, day 1 was thursday for public. definatly sounded like it was running on saturday morning, none of the others made anywhere near the scale of noise the ccr did, im pretty sure it was running saturday morning

  9. Actually it broke from day one (wednesday) when the owner left the lights on and the battery ran flat. As I say in the vid description we tried to hook it up to the Spyker but it wasn’t giving any juice. So we just left it.

I havent heard from the owner if it is working yet…

  10. They broke the CCR, ignition faliure and something, can see why when the revved the cars the way they did, anyone who buys this car is pretty stupid especially if they see videos of the car on here doing it.

  11. Awesome car. Good begining.

  12. Great video! Awesome shots and amazing car!!

    just amazing!!

  15. The color is just a wrap. You can take it off and its orange underneath.

Great car. One of the best in the world. Much much better than ANY Veyron. Tiff, it just a matter of opinion, but Koenigsegg takes soo much time and pride in building their cars that the interior is far superior to that of Ferrari and others.

    Great vide. 100/5

  16. what the hell? The interior isn’t as impressive as ferrari? Ferrari’s interior looks so cheap compared to Koenigsegg. Koenigsegg has one of the nicest interiors I’ve seen on a car in my opinion.

  17. Wow, looks amazing, and thats nice how you got to talk to Tiff Needell!

  18. Great cars! I would love to go to that motorshow.

  19. Great vid! And this CCR is orange normaly. A matte black wrap was added and can be removed.

  21. such an awesome car, and it looks evil in this color, and the interview is cool too.

  22. Cheers, I wasn’t sure myself how to spell it.
